Radio Broadcast Projects

The following provides audio, text and still image documentation of seven projects produced by Damian Castaldi and Solange Kershaw in previous years in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, Paris, Barcelona, New York and Liverpool.

In the mist of an arcane pop. Solo production for the ABC Classic FM, The Listening Room. Thirty minute broadcast of the New Media Art & Technology partnership project with the ABC, December 2005. The following Arcane Pop audio excerpt was presented as part of the 6th annual DEEP WIRELESS festival of Radio and Transmission Art, Toronto, Ontario. Surrealism for Sale. Hotel Drouot, Paris. Radio broadcast for the ABC, The Listening Room, commissioned by executive producer Robyn Ravlich in April 2003. The work is based on interviews and recordings made at the Hotel Drouot Auction rooms during the sale of André Breton’s private collection of objects and artworks. Produced in collaboration with Solange Kershaw. (short excerpt)
